I should point out that its after coming out so beautifully the pickguard is being scrapped, couldn't bare to hide that top.

Yeah... I can see that. Although that pickguard does look pretty cool.

I used to have an MTD (Tobias) Kingston 5 with a beautiful FMT and tobacco burst. I hated that pickguard for hiding the FMT.

It was a really hard decision to make, but I don't think I'd be able to handle a situation like yours with the MTD, espcially after seeing it pre-guard, as it were.

Maybe sometime in the future(if I'm lucky) I'll be able to get one with the guard, and without a nice top, in a solid colour like lime green metallic(like Renés), or candy tangerine metallic.

I saw this one last night and it's looking beautiful... We need to get some pics up for this. It looks like it is very close to completion. I'll try to get some pics tomorrow night if Ryan doesn't already have some.

Well, she arrived today....  shocked

I'm utterly in love, it's a sheer beast, and flexible as heck! And no matter how I set it, it sounds great!

The green, it's so incredible in person, I can't believe it, the pics are lovely, but when I saw it in person my jaw dropped, 100% delighted that I changed my mind and skipped the pickguard!
